A breath of air.
A gulp of life.
I bring a restless night to an end.
In my darkest hour,
With sufficient time,
I've discovered worthwhile circumstances to resume this cycle for the next moment.
Through all the garbled lies,
The dead ends,
The burned bridges,
I have a flicker of a grain of hope.
That minute amount is enough to replenish the deepest cavern of my soul.
No matter what obstacles this life hurls against me,
I will face them with a resounding calm.
No matter how troublesome my life gets,
It is just a cloud waiting for a gust to move it along.
In that perspective my life burns brighter.
I'll look at these days with a refreshed sense of appreciation.
For the decision I discovered at my bleakest instant.
When I refused to trade my treasure for an empty pine box.
